Interesting article. html5 and css3 will sure add functions that flash offers right now, like the ability to add a video slide show with transitions, and more.
Flash is moving into 3d. Flash has been moving into 3d in conjunction with other programs like 3d Studio Max. In fact alot of the websites posted in the other thread are modeled with 3d Studio then exported to Flash.
It is exciting to hear that Flash will branch into its own version of openGL. The future is bright for Macromedia and Flash.
